What are bursaries? How do I apply for a bursary?
Bursaries are awards based entirely on financial need. Students entering an undergraduate program can apply for an entrance bursary by completing the online application, "Entrance Financial Need Assessment Form", by April 15th. Students do not have to have an offer of admission to apply, but they must have an application to an undergraduate program on file at the time of application.
In-course students should submit a Need Assessment Form online or pick one up from the Student Financial Services Office. Undergraduate and diploma in-course student bursaries have an October 7 deadline for students registering in both the Fall and Winter semesters. Students registering only for the Fall semester can apply in August.
Graduate student in-course bursaries have a January 10 deadline for students registering in both the Fall and Winter semesters. Students registering only for the Fall semester can apply in August.

What is the deadline to apply for bursaries?
Most of our undergraduate in-course bursaries have a deadline of October 7. However, we will accept applications throughout each semester on an ongoing basis for those students faced with unexpected financial shortfalls or emergencies. Students must complete a Financial Need Assessment Form.
