What is residence living like?

Living on campus is an essential part of the "Guelph" experience. Enjoy your new independence in a community with other new students who are making the most of their first year at university. Meet others who share your interests from all over Ontario, Canada, and the world. Living in residence offers you the support you need to succeed in your first year.  Residence Life Staff and members of Interhall Council are energetic and supportive ? providing opportunities for you to be involved, and offering help when you need it.  Your time in residence will be what you make it, and it has the potential to be one of the best experiences of your life.  In every residence building, a wide range of fun and informative events are offered by both students and professional staff. Programs are planned by the Residence Life Staff in your area and include events, newsletters and bulletin boards. In addition, your Hall Council runs activities to meet the needs of their residents. It?s up to you to choose the events that you attend and, if you?re interested, to get involved in the planning of future events.
