What is the best way to get around Guelph?
Walking and biking are the easiest and least expensive modes of transportation in Guelph. The Guelph Campus, the downtown area, student residences and homes are all quite close together. Getting around Guelph by bus is relatively simple. As an undergraduate or graduate student, included in your student fees is a bus pass. You can ride unlimited to anywhere the city bus system runs. For those who are not students, tickets are available from the InfoDesk in the University Centre as well as various locations around Guelph.
Hours of Service
Guelph Transit buses provide service every 20 minutes during peak service times Monday to Friday and every 30 minutes during the off-peak times and on the weekends.
Monday to Saturday: 5:45 a.m.-12:15 a.m.
Sunday: 9:15 a.m.-6:45 p.m.
Monday to Friday Peak Service: 7 a.m.-9:40 a.m. and 2 p.m.-5:40 p.m.
Holiday (Sunday) Service is provided on all statutory and civic holidays. Extended service is also provided on Canada Day and New Year’s Eve.
