What if I take summer school courses, what marks will be considered?

The University of Guelph will treat courses completed previously through Summer School, Night School, or Correspondence in the same manner as those completed through day school; they will be counted equally in determining your admission average. Please ensure these courses are completed at an accredited institution.

In a case where a previously completed course is repeated, we use the highest grade reported.

For applicants currently enrolled full time in an Ontario secondary school, in order to be considered in our final round of offers in May, please ensure that you have all official marks (mid-terms for courses currently in progress) submitted to our office by April 30th.  In order to be considered in the final round of offers we will need to see at least a mid-term grade for six Grade 12 U/M courses including prerequisites courses by April 30th. Otherwise, there is a possibility that by the time you are eligible for admission the program may have already filled up.
